August 7 2008 9:00pm Zoo Bar; Lincoln, NE: The PS rocking it with Crush the Clown and Once A Pawn at the world famous Zoo Bar :: Fantastic evening of fun. Some old friends we had not seen in awhile and several new inductees to the Spirit. Patrick Bradley brought out the fighting guitar and Jim shreded his strings on the first tune. One of the finest venues in the states to play. You get the blues in your bones just getting on the stage.

Joining us are Manny Coon and Western Civilization from TEXAS. They bring with them one slab a slice a chunka, heeping helping of Texas ROCK. Everything is bigger in Texas excepting the P|S noise. Which is always biggest.

We won the contest now enjoy the fruits of our victory as we croon and channel the unmistakable Pharmacy Spirits onto the floor at Pershing Auditorium. Mar 22 2008 8:00pm The State Theatre; Lincoln, NE "Band-O-War" (No Coast Derby Girls Band Battle):: We love the Derby Girls! Four bands enter; one band leaves. Thanks to everyone that came out for the Band-O-War and voted for us. We will be gracing the stage of Pershing with audacity and noise for half of the Derby matches in the 2008 season (joining Incredible Heat Machine). what a great diversty of groups. Speed metal, Hip-Hop, and a metal meets hip-hop band. Fantastic time had by all.

Darren Keen and Thunder Power and Honeybee!:: What a great show!
Honeybee opened up with their terribly cute and wonderfully striking
set of songs. I don't know what the lead singers name is but she has
the voice of an angel and eyes that you could drown in. An eclectic mix
of Nebraska own New Weird America! They were followed by Thunder Power
(as they were sharing a drum kit) who brought their diva of sultry
vocal tones. Like a siren she seduces you with her voice while the band
backs with tasteful euro-french-pizzacato five-like riffs and changes
bopping along. We unleashed demons. Darren unleashed humor.
Mar 11 2008 9:00pm Box Awesome; Lincoln,NE w/ The DT’s, Vampire Hands, Private Dancer:: Four bands of massive tonal assault. The DT's opened up with their tiki maddness of smoke, mirrors, and lyricism that could make a pirate blush. We gave forth our first showin 5 months with new bassist Brendan and reminded Nebraska that we don't all have to be crying in our emo-closets to be making music. Many thanks to Private Drive and the inexhaustable rock of Vampire Hands (you kick vampire weakend to the curb with scorn).
